Products & SKUs
NetSuite Items will be synced as either Products or SKUs depending on associated information.
Which Items will sync to JOOR?
You will work with your JOOR Integrations Manager to define the criteria for synchronizing your item data to JOOR. This criteria, which can be an existing or new custom field, will be used by the JOOR x NetSuite connector to:
- Fetch and sync the appropriate item data from NetSuite to create or update it in JOOR.
- Delete product data on JOOR that no longer meets the defined NetSuite criteria.
Examples of criteria include:
- An existing custom field used to categorize items or define their scope (e.g., wholesale channels).
- A new custom field, such as a "JOOR Enabled" checkbox.

Images
The entire NetSuite File Cabinet (NFC) is considered during syncing. There is no need to assign images to Items directly.
JOOR will automatically match existing images in the NetSuite File Cabinet that match a specific filename pattern. This filename naming convention is configurable and will be established during the set up.
Though the naming convention is customizable, it is necessary to consistently adhere to whichever naming convention you choose. Take this into consideration when determining your naming convention.
Q&A:Can I sync style images, style color images and swatches? Yes, images stored in your NetSuite File Cabinet can be synced to JOOR. The image filename must be consistent (e.g., product_code+color+position) and shared with your Integrations Manager during the project.
How do I update/replace an image through the integration? Update the item in NetSuite and save it to trigger the image update/replacement.
Collections
See Mapped Fields - NetSuite for details.
by default
The recommended method for managing your collections in JOOR is to use the native NetSuite Item Collection feature. This functionality allows you to easily group items for sale.
Once the Item Collection has synced, supplementary details such as Season and Delivery Window should be set directly within JOOR.
with mapping customization
If the standard NetSuite Item Collection feature is not suitable for your workflow, and you currently manage seasons and collections using custom item fields, you can use those fields to populate your JOOR collections. Please inform your JOOR Integrations Manager of this preference.
Q&A:How do I sync Collections to JOOR? The recommended method is to use the native Item Collections object in NetSuite, which can be accessed by navigating to List > Accounting > Item Collection.
How can I drop a style from a linesheet? Removing a style from the Item Collection will remove it from your JOOR linesheet.
Can I sync more than one Collection? Yes, you can add an item to multiple collections. If needed, you can even be more specific and assign individual SKUs (e.g., excluding certain colors) to different collections.
Can I set Collection delivery dates? The standard Item Collection object in NetSuite does not support delivery date fields. Therefore, delivery dates must be set manually in JOOR after the initial sync. If you have a custom NetSuite object that contains this information, its delivery date fields can be configured to sync automatically via your connector.

When Customers will sync to JOOR?

Will a customer record on NetSuite be created upon order import on NS for orders I placed for new customers on JOOR? If your business needs a different approach, your Integrations Manager will assist you with the required setup.
